Refund & Cancellation Policy

  • On all orders that are personalized and customized as per the customer's requirements, CakesnCakesShop.com won’t accept any cancellations of orders once placed. 
  • Customized cakes cannot be reused as they are customized.
  • We don't take responsibility for the delivery by a third party as we prefer clients to either collect the order or get it collected. However, we do try and coordinate with our delivery partner who are offering their services as a third party.
  • The delivery responsibilities that are urgent or orders placed outside the domain of our service timings as mentioned on the website are going to be borne by the client. The onus will be on the client for the product to reach the destination in the correct shape and time. We keep a minimum of 3 to 4 hrs TAT for all urgent orders for us to get it prepared . Our cakes and products are made fresh so we request our clients to pre-book their orders by 24 hrs. Same-day delivery is accepted for orders placed before 12 noon. All other orders placed post-12 noon will be considered for next-day delivery. Special requests will be taken but the delivery timings will be specific to our given TAT and conditions that the client will be responsible for third-party delivery.
  • An order will be considered confirmed only once the payment is received in our account and a confirmation is sent to the client. A client cannot cancel an order on any grounds once the payment is made.
  • A 1-day cancellation notice for regular cakes and a 2-day cancellation notice for special/customized cakes are required.
  • Customers shall mail cancellation requests to [email protected] with a proper subject (cancellation request), order ID, and genuine reason for cancellation. 
  • We will only issue the refund to the card or the mode of payment used for the order . 
  • All genuine refunds will be made within 2-3 working days from the date of cancellation approved. 
  • In case of any extra payment made against an order, we will exchange the additional amount paid with any other products or refund the extra amount in the exact mode in which the payment was received. 
  • It is entirely up to Belly Amy’s choices and policies to change, cancel, refund, or provide any other option to the customer. 
  • We understand the wait for your order is unbearable, but sometimes, owing to various unavoidable reasons and unfortunate circumstances, product delivery may not happen within the specified time frame. Thus, our policy is that Orders that aren't delivered within the specified timeframe are not eligible for a refund. We don't guarantee the time frame but will put our utmost effort into seeing that the product reaches you.

There will be only just one attempt to deliver. Before you choose a delivery time, please note to ensure:

  • Make sure that the receiver is in place. If not, an additional effort will not be made, and a request for a second attempt, as it involves cost, will not be entertained.
  • If the recipient is unavailable on the delivery date, a postponement is possible if the same is intimated before the 24-hour window for scheduled delivery. Requests for cancellation or postponement will not be accepted for customised products, which involve products with less life expectancy. However, the payment will not be refunded. Any essential information related to the delivery and availability should be intimated at the time of purchase.
  • We take a minimum of 3-4 hours to process an order after receiving payment. Once payment is credited, the order is confirmed.
  • In case of particular situations.

Suppose there are exceptional circumstances, like extreme weather or riots, strikes, elections, brands, or popular holidays, such as Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Rakhi, New Year's Eve, etc. Delivery times and other delivery times, even if they are stated, are not guaranteed. If this is the case, orders are not cancelled; they are fulfilled depending on the conditions.

  • Situation 1: Before 24 hrs.—If Belly Amy receives Cancellation requests at least 24 hours before the selected time slot begins, 10 per cent of the purchase amount will be charged as cancellation charges. Refunds to the bank account will be made for 90% of the purchase amount.

Note: A full refund of 100% of the purchase amount in Belly Amy's wallet is sometimes available, depending on the reason and management discretion on a case-to-case basis, provided Belly Amy made no purchase related to the order. If Purchases are made, the refund will vary, and the deductions will be charged to the client over and above the percentage mentioned above.

  • Situation 2: Between 24 hrs. and 12 hrs.—If Belly Amy receives the request between 12 and 24 hours before the selected time slot begins, a 20 per cent cancellation fee will be charged. A maximum of 80% will be refunded to your bank account.

Note: A full refund of 100% of the purchase amount in Belly Amy's wallet is sometimes available, depending on the reason and management discretion on a case-to-case basis, provided Belly Amy made no purchase related to the order. If Purchases are made, the refund will vary, and the deductions will be charged to the client over and above the percentage mentioned above.

  • Situation 3: Within 12 hrs. - You can get a discount if you visit Belly Amy's within 12 hours of your chosen time slot, starting and ending time.

Request a cancellation; 100% of the amount will be deducted for cancellation costs.

The refunds are 0% and can be transferred to Bell Amy's or her bank account.

Imp note: Please don't ask for the exact product design or colour as we never guarantee the same look or product as displayed or shared. The online use of camera technology is permitted; thus, the colour of a cake, the exact design of a product, and the size and look of a product, including all our products from cakes, flowers, plants and accessories, are not guaranteed to be the same and can only be similar as all chefs and companies employ different brands and products like colour, wrapping papers, baskets, and other decorating materials. In the case of our products, online arrangements might be different from those for delivered items.

  • The quality and freshness of our products are affected by availability and freshness. Our discretion is to replace a product with a different one or hamper to cover the same amount in the event of sudden circumstances.
  • The posts of the cake and other products may not look exactly like the ones in the photo, and they may be slightly different colours and styles.
  • Belly Amy's does not guarantee the condition of the product reaching the exact format or shape as our delivery is outsourced . We will not entertain a request for cancellation or refund based on the product not getting delivered in the exact form , size, and shape which may be due to various reasons .
